Manufacturing Skills
KALPATARU is one of the World's largest fabricator of Lattice Steel Towers with a capacity of 84,000 MTs per annum, the single largest at one location in India. Our first fabrication plant at Gandhinagar has a capacity of 54,000 MTs. To cater to our growing export requirements, a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) of fabrication capacity of 30,000 MTs p.a. has been commissioned in Gandhinagar in August, 2005.

Our plants incorporate the latest technology for straightening, drilling, punching by CNC machines and automatic temperature controlled, hot dipped galvanizing procedure.

A well planned layout for receiving raw materials streamlines the production lines, finished yard and the packing operation being tower wise bundling & containerized stuffing within the factory premises.

Fabrication Technology
The state of the art CNC machines operated by qualified and experienced Engineers and Technicians contribute to faultless punching, drilling, cutting, stamping and ensure the quality fabrication, which is very important for this industry. The same applies to hydraulic presses and machine tools and fixtures, furnace to handle plates or angles for bending operations.

Nine (9) Overhead cranes and seven (7) crane mounted trucks enable smooth material handling, thus reducing the number of employees on the floor. The machines are equipped to process the steel conforming to BSEN, ASTM, JIS, DIN, IS, AS & Euronorm specifications.

Galvanizing Technology
An automatic temperature controlled galvanizing bath 8M X 1M X 2.4 M of size achieves client's specification of galvanizing from 80 to 130 Mircon Zinc coating.

The Pre-Heating of flux ensures uniform drying and preheating of steel to give a clear surface finish and at the same time ensuring uniform zinc coating. Micro Processor controlled galvanizing furnace is monitored both in the factory, control room and also by the production-in-charge from his work station.

The chemicals and wastes are treated as per environmental standards.
